And she is a big Fan of Chiranjeevi.

LOVELY faced, beautiful, buxom and thunder-thighed Rambha makes the front benchers and balcony audiences alike go into raptures by her sheer sex appeal. She has a rare combination of an innocent face and a sensuous body that makes the male of the species squirm in their seats out of sheer delight.

C Sundar introduced Rambha in Tamil film Ullathai Alli Tha (Give me your heart). And the audience gave away their hearts to this sexy siren who sang ?I love you love you sonnale" clad in a red micro mini which flew up in the air, a la Marilyn Monroe's famous photograph that stunned the world. ?I saw that film hundred times just for the scene where Rambha walks stylishly with her frock flying up in the air," admits one fan sheepishly.

Rambha became a star overnight. Ullathai Alli Tha's stupendous success aroused a lot of expectations and her next film Sundara Purushan was with Livingstone, a well-known villain. Surprisingly, the film that was meant to be a flop clicked in a big way. Rambha?s fans say that the entire credit for the success should go to her and her revealing costumes. Clad in white saris, she would get drenched at the drop of a hat. She allowed herself to be photographed from unconventional angles, revealing all her "oomph"! What more does a front bencher want?

But if she thought that oomph was enough to carry off a film, she couldn?t have been more wrong. Her next film with Ajith ?Raasi?, a shabbily made romance, bombed at the box office. As is customary in the Indian film industry, its failure affected only Ajith's career, while Rambha went on signing films.

Her career took a turning point when actor-director Kamal Haasan signed her for his comedy Kathala Kathala. Though she was Prabhu Deva's romantic pair, she had several scenes with Kamal Haasan, whose sense of comic timing is well known. Though acting with the Tamil star for the first time, Rambha managed to match up to him and many felt she complemented Kamal perfectly.

Her dancing prowess is of course well known and in an era where only heroines with dancing capabilities can withstand stiff competition Rambha, with her sexy and suggestive movements, gives the audience more than what they aspire for. She stands apart even in the group dances. Her mayilu mayilu dance with Simran, Prabhu Deva and Abbas became a big hit and Rambha became a household name. Her huge wall posters became an integral part of any and every bachelor's room!

Nainaithen Vanthai, a tearjerker dealing with the hackneyed subject of triangular love --- two sisters falling in love with the same man --- had poor initial response. Even Rambha?s name, which spelled magic, could not pull the audiences to the theatres.

Thoroughly uninhibited and very practical, Rambha knows too well that to survive in the industry for a decent period she needs to be prepared for certain compromises. "I am very practical," she says. "Now I am young. People come to the theatres not to see me draped in a six-yard sari. It's fun time for me now. Let me enjoy this adulation for a while."

It's a pity though that Rambha is known only as a sex kitten. The climax scenes of Nainaithe Vanthai did give her enough scope to reveal her histrionics. Unfortunately, Rambha's fans seem to be vehemently against her revealing anything except her breathtaking curves!

Basically an Andhra girl, Rambha is famous in the Telugu film industry too. Once a crazy fan of Rambha came all the way from Andhra, landed straight in front of her palatial bungalow and remained there without food and drink. In spite of the watchman's stern warnings, the fan refused to stir out of the place without having a darshan of his dream girl! Finally the police swarmed the area and arrested the man. That's when Rambha came out of her bungalow and met the fan, who, thrilled to bits, said: ?I have achieved my life time's ambition," and walked away coolly.

She has made forays into Bollywood with Judwaa and Bandhan, films in which she acted opposite the sexy hunk Salman Khan.
